Hundreds of horse racing fans gathered at Shooters Bar & Grill and Don Carter Lanes on Saturday for the annual “Don Carter Derby Party.” The event featured food trucks, specialty drinks, live music, and the opportunity to bet on the race. “It's Kentucky Derby party. It's huge, we have it every year,” said Jamey Funk, general manager of Don Carter Lanes. “It's always on the first Saturday of May.
